My project is a Business hotel that incorporates fit living.
The design problem is the way people live their lives now, the population is getting obese and this leads to lower quality of life. The hectic life of business people is also bad for their health, and these are the things I have researched and want to create one type of solution for.
- Problem: Healthy living in hectic everyday business life and travel
- How to balance the lifestyle to get optimal health and happiness.
- How to balance the lifestyle to get optimal health and happiness.
My Target Audience is corporates and leisure travellers.
Corporate travellers often stays for longer term, and would like an environment that would feel more like home, they need comfort so they can both relax and work in their rooms.
The gym will be a part of improving their life because it will be accessible for free and have good offers, personal trainers, consultants etc. There will be a spa so people can relax and get massages etc.
History of the Design Problem: Out Health is, because of all the new technology and all of our helpful equipment in modern societies, getting bad and it needs to be done something with.
Motivations and needs: Better for work environment with healthy people, businesses have fewer expenses with people taking less sick days and the overall work morality is increasing.
- The general quality of life is better if you live your life balanced and healthy.
I also believe that if the fitness facilities are designed well and the atmosphere is good, people would enjoy them more and be more likely to come back and continue exercising. It would be a good way of motivate and inspire people to achieve balance.
